I have a Monte Carlo SS with 3.8 engine and 110,000 miles.  It needs an intake gasket.  How soon do I need to do this? I just located it.  I added coolant once.  What cost am I looking at and what damage to the engine before during and after repair.  What should be included in the repair? Do I need an engine flush? Should I replace the coolant?
