Featured Vehicle - '62 Chevy Impala of Scott Olsen

This issue's featured car is the '62 Chevy Impala of Scott Olson of Junction City, Kansas.  Here is his story:

5 years ago I attended a car show in a small town in Kansas. I began looking around and there was a 1962 Chevy Impala convertible I began talking to the owner and I told him I took my drivers license test 55 years in a 1962 Chevy and wished I could find one. He told me his friend had one for sale in another small town, The next day I talked to the owner and went to see it. At first sight I know I was going to buy it. The first owner was in Oklahoma he owed it 40 years and had all the records of parts bought for the car. The second owner was the person I purchased the car from and he had the car for 15 years. He also kept all records of purchases. Now I am the proud owner of a 1962 Chevy Impala SS 409. One day my grandson will be driving it. He is 5 years old now.
