Sport Mode

Q:     Can driving my 2021 Camaro in sport mode every day damage it? I have never had a sports car before.

Troy Duncan

A:     The short answer to the question is no, you will not hurt the car driving in sports mode every day.

If your car is a Gen 6 equipped with magnetic ride control, the suspension and steering tighten up in sport and track mode. Also, if your car has an NPP exhaust system, going into sport and track mode activates the NPP exhaust. I personally like the tighter steering so I have it set to track regardless of the mode I am in. There are several different settings, so play around with them until you find one that suits your driving style. Hope this helps.
